Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) - gofod3

Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) - gofod3 2026 launch

As the Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) prepared to launch gofod 3, their annual voluntary sector exhibition, they needed to show organizations how participating in 2026 could amplify their mission through exhibition and event space.

I shaped the edit around the voices and experiences of exhibitors who participated in 2025. Rather than simply listing features of the event, I shaped their stories to show why they chose to invest in event space and what they gained from it. By weaving together moments of connection, success, and impact, the video allows potential exhibitors, especially those who may be on the fence, to see themselves in these stories and understand what participation could mean for them.

Limes Smiles For Miles

Limes Smiles For Miles provides safe, affordable early intervention childcare for children ages 3-6 diagnosed with ASD and Down Syndrome. They wanted to highlight the meaningful work they do by showcasing a community workshop.

I structured the edit around a scripted voice-over that guides viewers through the day of the workshop, using raw footage to visually reinforce the organization’s mission and the work they do. By shaping the pacing, structure, and visual flow, I highlighted how the workshop supports adults while ultimately strengthening outcomes for the children and families that Limes Smiles For Miles serves.

Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA) - gofod3 recap

I helped the Wales Council for Voluntary Action (WCVA)’s to showcase their annual exhibition, gofod 3, and the largest voluntary sector gathering in Wales, and build anticipation for the next event.

I wanted viewers to get a sense of the atmosphere of the event and give them an idea of what their day would look like. I guided viewers through the event journey, from arrival to key moments during the day, using strong visuals alongside the voices of exhibitors and attendees. While the visuals draw viewers in, it’s the shared stories and reflections that create real connection. By highlighting what participants experienced and took away from the event, the video fosters a sense of belonging that inspires new attendees and re-energizes past ones, allowing them to rediscover moments they may have missed or see the event from a fresh perspective.
